Tidepooling in Mendocino
On a brief trip to Mendocino we went tidepooling at the Glass Beach and at Mackerricher State Park near Fort Bragg. Everywhere we looked we could see life in the ocean: tiny little creatures peacefully moving here and there, hermit crabs showing off their colorful shells and we even got to see a wonderful open starburst anemone. I found it extremely fascinating, not to mention I got to use my macro, which is becoming one of my favorite lens. We also spent time in the Mendocino Village, walking along the marvelous Headlands at sunset, surrounded by wild flowers and breathtaking views.
