Q: Do you deliver every image you shoot?

A: No, I do not. I select the best ones. I eliminate out of focus ones or the ones with unflattering facial expressions.

Q: Do you touch up all the images in our image download?

A: Yes I do. Every image I deliver is post produced in Lightroom. This involves color correction, exposure adjustment, selective black and white processing, clarity adjustments, tone-mapping, and other corrections. 

Q: Can you make me look younger, slimmer, remove imperfections?

A: I think you look beautiful as you are. If I deem it necessary, I apply minor skin smoothing and corrections in Lightroom. During the shoot, a few tweaks on posing and good lighting will definitely help achieving great results. High End Retouching is available at $45/hr.

Q: How should I dress? Do I need make up? Do we need to match outfits?

I think you should be as comfortable as you can, meaning that you should wear whatever fits your personality and makes you fill at ease. Less is more, don't over accessorize, or not at all. Generally speaking, solid, darker colors are safer. For families, I strongly recommend not to match outfits. If you want a more stylized photo shoot, I do recommend to have a make up artist at the shoot, or at least get your hair and make up done right before.

Q: Do we own the images?

No. The images are my property and protected by copyrights. I am giving you a personal use license for the images that includes unlimited use for displaying them in your devices, printing or sharing (I provide my clients with watermarked images for sharing in social media). You may not sell, reproduce for commercial distribution or use the images for other purposes other than personal use.

Q: Do you use images from the photo shoot in your marketing materials?

I do. It is essential for me to show my work to keep my portfolio up to date to reach potential clients. I do not disclose client's names or private addresses. Should you ever feel the need to keep certain images private, please inform me before signing the service agreement.

Q: When am I getting my images?

I deliver your digital files within three weeks from the photo shoot. Should you need them sooner, I need to know your schedule needs in advance, depending on my workflow, I will do my best to accommodate your request.
